Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using MuntLab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. MuntLab is operated by Banextech BV, KvK 98098802, VAT NL868357844B01, Netherlands.
2. Your licence
A free account gives you a personal licence to the free features. A paid subscription gives you a personal licence to the paid features for as long as it is active.
Your licence is personal and non-transferable. You may not share, resell or distribute your licence key. Keys used across an unusually large number of devices may be blocked.
3. Subscriptions, payment and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record. Prices are shown on our pricing section and include VAT where it applies.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
4. Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase. On top of that we offer a 14-day refund on request, no explanation needed. Email [email protected].
5. Your data is your responsibility
MuntLab stores your financial data on your own device, not on our servers. This means we cannot recover it. If you clear your browser data, change device, or lose the device, the data is gone. Keeping your own backups by exporting from the app is your responsibility.
6. No financial advice
MuntLab is a budgeting tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Every projection and calculation in the app is an estimate for information only, based on the assumptions you enter. Retirement and forecast figures in particular do not account for state pension (AOW), tax on withdrawals, or your personal circumstances. Speak to a qualified adviser before making financial decisions.
7. Intellectual property
MuntLab, including its source code, design and content, is the property of Banextech BV. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile or create derivative works from it without written permission.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass licence checks, access paid features without paying, disrupt the service, or use MuntLab to break the law. We may suspend a licence that does.
9. No warranty
MuntLab is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be free of errors or always available.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Banextech BV is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of MuntLab, including loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to active licence holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept them.
12. Governing law
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
